Birches Head Get Growing offer everything free of charge at the point of delivery as we believe “kindness is our currency”. We wish to support self-sufficiency and systems of Community Exchange, encouraging personal growth and empowerment; changing the World one carrot at a time!
At Birches Head Get Growing, we believe in kindness and sharing. We provide everything for free, so everyone can benefit.
We believe in community exchange to help us achieve our goals, from helping out at our allotment to visiting our Free Shop Swap Shop, our projects aim to create sustainable solutions that have a lasting impact. By working together, we can make a positive change in Birches Head.
We wish to reduce our carbon footprint to the shortest distance possible from source to plate and so we offer opportunities for everyone to grow and share their own produce.
Our Potter & Natter Friendship Group offers workshops, taster courses, crafts, hobbies, gentle gardening, a free library and lots of cake and refreshments in the most relaxing of company.
Ever wanted to shop for free? Well, this is it! Toys, food, clothes, household items, books, and more, all for free! you can bring items to Swap or donate time to our projects, its up to you, we don’t keep check on kindness!

You can Share a little of you time with us. Volunteers make a massive different to the work that we do.
We accept a variety of donations, including food, clothing, toys, and other household goods.
To pay it forward simply means to repay a kindness received with a good deed to someone else.
